HOW MANY TUBES/BOXES OF SPARTAN PRO TECH DO I NEED?
4 tubes (2 boxes) will kill mosquitoes in areas 1 acre or smaller and areas with less mosquito pressure and deployed early in the season. Larger treatment areas greater than 1 acre will will require additional tubes spaced around the perimeter/property line of the area to be treated (i.e. 2 acres will require 8 or more tubes [4 or more boxes] depending on mosquito pressure and land features).
HOW OFTEN DO I REPLACE SPARTAN MOSQUITO PRO TECH?
Spartan Mosquito Pro Tech will remain effective for up to 30 days. Replace Spartan Mosquito Pro Tech tubes every 30 days.
WHEN SHOULD I ORDER AND SET UP MY SPARTAN MOSQUITO PRO TECH?
The Mosquito Emergence and Deployment Map shows the approximate start of mosquito seasons by temperate zones based on climate data sourced from the United States Department of Agriculture.

WHERE DO I HANG THE TUBES?
Hang the tubes along the perimeter/property line of the area to be protected, each tube no more than 180 feet apart. Hang the tubes at least 80 feet away from areas where people gather, since mosquitoes will gather near them. If you have woods, heavy vegetation, or a water feature that attracts mosquitoes, hang at least 1 tube near or within that area, 80 feet away from people. Place an additional tube near that area if outside of the protected zone. Hang the tubes approximately 6 feet above the ground and no more than 180 feet apart. The ideal place to hang tubes is on a large tree against the trunk on a sturdy branch, or just inside a bush, where they will be shaded and be partially protected from rain. This prevents evaporation and allows some water replenishment from rain.
WHY DO I NEED TO HANG SPARTAN MOSQUITO PRO TECH AT LEAST 80FT AWAY?
Our directions do say to hang the tubes at least 80 feet away from areas where people gather, since mosquitoes will gather near them.
