By Spartan Mosquito, September 30, 2018

  • Hurricane Michael made landfall with Category Five intensity on the Florida Panhandle early Wednesday afternoon, October 10, 2018. At least 74 deaths and an estimated $25.1 billion in damages were attributed to this weather system. AC2T employees packed up enough Spartan Mosquito Eradicators to treat over 1,000 football fields of land and personally delivered them to the victims of Michael.
  • On September 14, 2018, the wettest hurricane in the history of the Carolinas, the infamous Florence, caused widespread flooding with $24 billion in damages in North and South Carolina. AC2T arrived in New Bern, North Carolina on September 29th with 6,000 Spartan Mosquito Eradicators. The aftermath of Hurricane Florence flooding made left a devastating impact and we were honored to make rebuilding efforts a little more comfortable for both the locals and the disaster recovery teams.
  • After Hurricane Irma struck Florida on September 10, 2017, Spartan Mosquito donated enough Mosquito Eradicators to cover 1/3 of the 2.3 square mile city of South Miami. “We were founded to serve,” says Hirsch, “so anytime we can do that it makes us excited.” Hirsch was presented with a mini-key to South Miami by Mayor Stoddard for his help in Irma relief efforts. Hirsch concludes, “We wish we could donate to everyone in the world, but we’re happy to be reducing mosquito numbers in recovery areas for our small part.”
